Bethesda, MD, March 29, 2006 -- Geocentric announced today that the firm has been awarded the Best Regional Interactive Application Award in the 2006 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC). Geocentric received the award from the Web Marketing Association for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising.
The winning interactive application is the DowntownBethesda.com Interactive Dining Map, which was developed based on Geocentric's Citylight Destination Marketing and Interactive Mapping Software.
The Web Marketing Association's expert judges selected the project based on seven criteria: creativity, innovation, design, copywriting, use of medium, memorability, impact. The site was compared with all of the sites within the industry and medium. Geocentric was selected as the "Best of Industry."
